Brochure folder

A brochure is an informative document that is one sheet folded. Brochures as advertising pieces used mainly to introduce a company/organization or to inform about products and/or services to a target audience.

The most common types of single-sheet brochures are the bi-fold (a single sheet printed on both sides and folded in half) and the tri-fold (folded into thirds). A bi-fold brochure results in four panels (two panels on each side), while a tri-fold results in six panels (three panels on each side).

Sizes – A brochure sheet can be any size but the most common sizes are 8.5”x11” and 11” x 17”

Colour – can be printed in 1 colour, 2 colours or full colour

Material – 80lb gloss text paper and 80lb matter text paper

Production – 4 – 5 business days plus shipping time

Bleed Note  When your design file shows  an image that extends to the edge of the paper size then a 1/8” bleed is required and the art must extend into the bleed area.  Important content should be set back 1/8” from any edge or the trim mark.

Borders can be problematic because minor cutting inaccuracies can make them appear shifted.
